Comment on Minimalism with a Family: How can you simplify and love your life? by Katie Probert.
Hey Marie-Eve, thank you for sharing your thoughts and practicalities on your minimalist life. I have just written a jumbo essay on similar themes, so it’s really good to open my emails and find your words and point of view waiting for me to read 🙂
I like how you detail how you make minimalism work for you and your family. Each person is in a unique situation, and I think it’s really important not to feel pressure to be minimal for the sake of it, adhering to strict rules and worrying about not being ‘minimalist enough’. You must do what works for you, and I enjoyed you thoughts on the dishwasher – and that with it you have more time to be with your sons. I think the whole point of minimalism, or indeed an enriched life, is to make choices in order to spend more time experiencing life and spending time with loved ones.
